Embrace the chaos!!

LOL

BTW - for those of you keeping score on the draft prospect value chart:

Javon Foster (14th pick of 4th round)  prospect grade from NFL.com after combine, profile and scouting reports = 6.18
"good backup with potential to become starter"

Parker Washington (8th pick of 6th round)  = 5.95
"average backup or special teamer"

It wouldn’t be a problem if we had worse O-lineman that we are cutting. Hance has outplayed Foster by miles. Reports are that Foster does not even look like an NFL backup. Keep the best players especially O-Lineman - don’t waste time on keeping a 4th rounder, keep him on the PS, he’d pass waivers.

And to Baalke not being on the hot seat i disagree - if our 275 mil QB gets injured by our O-Line again this year you can bet that Kahn will think twice about extending Baalke.

Fair take regarding the injury concerns for Lawrence with the offensive lineman allowing it due to poor showing and poor play. I think that's fair. I think they'll throw Rauscher into the fire next year though more than anybody if it happens again.

Baalke will need to answer for it if it happens, Pederson and the rest of his staff will also have to answer for it if it happens because it's also their job and responsibility to coach these guys up into competent competitors and also figure out a way to work with what they have.

Foster, in fairness to him, he was a second-team all SEC member in 2022 and first-team all SEC member last year in 2023. He was considered a top 10 OT prospect, had a 91.0 run blocking grade, which was 2nd best amongst all FBS tackles.

He thrived when they ran outside zone schemes. He's a good scheme fit here, a much better run blocker than pass blocker at the moment, which was nothing new or unknown about him during the scouting process.
