Agreed. It's a shame they haven't come up with a different way to work these groups separately. Offer better insurance premiums to them, or, give them a little extra kickback money for having to workout more physically during the year. The NFLPA could work something out with the league if they wanted to. 

If it's the concussion concerns, it looks like they're getting better with helmet protection. I know Jonathan Taylor was wearing that supportive cap over his helmet during the preseason. Give that support or newer technology to the offensive and defensive lineman group if it's a driving concern behind not practicing as much.

I agree, we are seeing so many changes within the league and trying new ways to make things safer and reduce injury but this feels like an area that isn't bring addressed. I agree the guardian caps look a good addition to try and limit concussions and I haven't heard players complaining about having to use them. Maybe teams could select like 7-8 oline players a day for additional work so you can rotate players and still give them days to recover. I know there were some players who died from the heat and other issues which made the league limit types of practice. Of course no one wants to see that but most teams have an indoor practice facility now which allows you to control those factors a bit more and maybe find a way that coaches are more relaxed with players needing to step out and players feeling like they can step out if they need and it won't affect their chances of getting on the roster.

It just feels an area the league and NFLPA need to start having some discussions about.
