There will be an effort to deport more people, more people will certainly get deported, and from that point on fewer are likely to come over without permission. It will never be eliminated, but it will be reduced for a while.  That's the good news.

The bad news is, it's going to be a crap shoot between who gets deported and who has to stay.

So tell us what is actually happening.  Are dangerous gang members being let into the country?  Are people on the Terrorist Watch List gaining entry to the country?  Are illegal aliens who have been arrested being let go?  Or is it like yours and Marty's fantasy that the majority of the illegals came here on vacation and over-stayed their visas?
