Mayock: Manziel better out of college than Kaepernick and Wilson

My question is whether there was so much scrutiny about going through progressions when Favre and Steve Young came into the league.   Manziel reminds me of Favre in a sense that he has the athletic skills and while he will dazzle you, he will also make some boneheaded throws.  I'm willing to deal with that.  Conversely, Bridgewater looks consistent and I think is a lot more athletic then he has shown.  Let me go with Alex Smith after Harbaugh developed him.  Good, conistent and can make that 10 yard run for a 1st down.  Bortles may have Big Ben potential but this may be a stretch since there are still a lot of unknowns.

In all reality, I'd be happy with any of them.  I'd be ecstatic with any of them in round 2 -- or a late 1st if we can trade our 2nd & a 5th to get one..
