I think Nielsen and the squad he's inherited and augmented will come together fine by October. I just can't feel good about that happening in week one vs a prolific scoring offense.

Jags may need a 31-27 type of score to win this one unless I'm totally wrong about the readiness of the Jags D.

Would really like to see the Jags play without unforced errors and protect Trevor to start the season at the very least.

That's why I harped on it earlier with Nielsen. He's going to have to call a really good game and the coverages he chooses to mix and match with will be vital to their success. It's the running game that concerns me to some extent. This is where all of that money and resources that was devoted to addressing the front four and linebacking core needs to shine. They need to keep Achane and Mostert in check and they need to get in Tua's face in obvious passing situations. 

Expect a lot of pre motion stuff, a lot of quick stuff and pick play stuff. Somebody needs to jump a pass in this one (Looking at you Campbell, you're now primo numero uno at CB salary wise) and Cisco needs to be ready to lay the wood to set the tone early. You cannot give Hill free, clean releases at the line of scrimmage. Somebody is going to have to handle Waddle one-on-one and Hill is going to need to be jammed and coverage favored in his direction. 

This game could end up a lot like last year's game in Cleveland on paper. Just can't make any mistakes on offense and you have a shot to keep pace with them.
