Evan Engram was a steal. Not sure what the issues were up there with the Giants and himself, but, looking at his overall career, his numbers have relatively been inline with what you'd expect out of a receiving type TE. It's not like he was a top five or ten selection. He went 23rd overall in 2017.

He's produced better numbers than guys like Pitts, been on par with guys like Hockenson, could be hitting his stride like Vernon Davis did here soon similarity wise. 

He had a solid rookie season, proceeded to miss a bit of time in back-to-back years after that (while still producing, for somebody that missed five games in 2018 and half a season in 2019, his numbers were pretty damn good). He also had Daniel Jones as his QB since 2019 up there and Mara went through three different coaches while he was there. Between Spags, Shurmur & Judge.
