They didn't do that. They shut themselves down in the 2nd half and it really falls back on the mental psyche of your football team. We'll see. Hopefully Sunday they can do the same to Cleveland but actually stick a dagger in them and twist it off for a convincing win.

My question though is how much latitude does Trevor have to audible out of the play or change the play at the line based on the look. Or at least go to Press and be like let me be me.

I know you don't want T-Law to go full Turbo and force the hero ball resulting in mistakes. But when your QB who is supposed to be your best player on offense, he cannot just let himself be taking out of the game due to play calling resulting in him no longer being in rhythm for the last drive or two.

The issue is that it just feels like Lawrence doesn't level up like that enough. Elite QB's do that multiple times a season, and often in the biggest moments/games.

For as much as we want to "explain away" a stat like Lawrence's 1-19 record in games when the Jags defense does not net a TO, elite QB's don't have that kind of record in those types of games.

Plus the lead after the fumble was still 17-7. We keep acting like the Tyreek 80 yard TD was inevitable, but it was not. Sure you may give up a big catch, but you cannot allow him the space to beat you up the sidelines.

Plus the three drops on third down's yesterday. He only had 12 completions in that game. The offense was too conservative against an explosive offensive opponent wise. I can't rip and attack Lawrence if you're not giving him the opportunity to show what he can or cannot do or handle.

What's the point of paying him $55M per year if you're not giving him the pass attempts as the other guys in the same range money wise? #FreeSunshine
