It's just weird how fast you guys turn on the guy who pulled us out of the dumpster. Just no grace in these people at all. It's really easy for us to get another coach and we can head right back down to 4 win seasons.

I am a little bit different in this regard. I know it's not easy, for one, that's the easiest point to call out.

However, it's also fair, that, the expectations are higher, the progression is better and that the future looks like it's trending in the right direction. Right now? It doesn't feel that way. It's year three. 9 - 8, 9 - 8, 0 - 1 for now. We had the Superman run of 2022 and then we had the Bizarro Superman run of 2023.

Barely making it in one year. Bitterly missing it the following year. A little bit of regression last year, but, the one constant in this equation has been these wild [BLEEP] rollercoaster tendencies of the same miscues that I don't feel like repeating again. That's where the frustration comes from.

I just want to see that change in year three for this offense. That's the next step towards getting over the hump. There's no secret sauce or formula here. They have to be more efficient when the situation calls for it. They cannot panic when one little SNAFU occurs. If the head coach is going to gamble, that's fine, just make it make sense throughout the entirety of the game.

These are things we should be looking for as fans this year. Especially from the core four, really, core six. Because it starts with Doug and Press with the offensive installments and plan of attack and then it should be carried out through Lawrence with him being able to clearly rely and lean on Engram, Etienne and Kirk.

And I think that's what really bothered me about that loss on Sunday. It's the fact that they DID lean on Engram, Etienne and Kirk and they all let the team down, in some cases, more than once.
