Campbell being out concerns me a little bit. Cooper was targeted a lot last Sunday but Watson could barely hit water if he fell out of a boat. It's not so much as Josh that I want to see get after Watson. It's just more about doing exactly what they did last Sunday. Keep the plays in front of you. Keep the running game in check and non existent. Let your base package effect the passer more than anything else so you're not having to over commit anybody else from the back seven to shore up any weak areas. I think they looked good on Sunday against the Dolphins. I really do. If I am Stefanski and looking at the film this week? I am already looking at some things that worked against them and that was the quick screens to the RB's, the drag routes and a few passes that were there for the taking down the seams here and there when Waddle got open. Nielsen needs to be prepared for a lot of heavy sets that result in misdirection, he needs to be prepared for them going after the LB's, especially if he's going to send Lloyd after Watson and leave Muma out there. He needs to be prepared for the RB screen play. So, it'll be an interesting contest. For us on offense. I think the obvious concern starts with Myles Garrett, especially if he's working Anton Harrison after a really bad first start this past weekend. I think they're going to be tougher to run the football against. I don't think you're going to see a lot of Bigsby breaking loose like he did against the Dolphins. Denzel Ward is a decent CB. I would like to throw everybody at him to keep him on his toes if possible. I would try like hell to run away from Garrett. I would really keep the under center calls and play action calls to a minimum in this one if I am being honest. I think you just need to let Lawrence operate more from the gun in this one, to avoid any potential sacks that result in 2nd or 3rd and long situations. This is to keep the front seven in front of him so he can see exactly what's happening and process it faster. This would be a good week to have Bigsby and Etienne rotate in and out of the backfield on the field at the same time. Maybe set up a RB draw play at some point after nickel and diming them. Maybe get Etienne on a quick pass over the middle if they try isolating him on a LB. There's a lot of ways to approach it. It's going to take more than 21 pass attempts to win this football game though. And, not to look too far ahead, but, it's probably going to be the same case with Buffalo that following Monday. Which, by the way, they get a three days head start on rest and preparation at home since they play Thursday night here soon. Makes up for the London advantage we had on them last year. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky.
