No one gets fired over a press conference  that’s ridiculous… But it all adds up. As a Head Coach and a QB in particular your public perception plays into how the fan base evaluates you as a leader. That’s true for anyone in position of leadership.

In the end you are judged by your results. And it’s week one.. no one wants him gone now or even during the season. But I am tired of the whole idea that head coaches and players don’t answer to fans … maybe not directly but why do you think that Shad Kahn is applying pressure to win now? 

It’s because he has invested a lot of money in this franchise and he wants to see a return on his investment. 

And we as fans are the customers… you want to see an empty new stadium poor television ratings and no primtime games and lower sales? Then keep losing games like we have going back to last year and the first part of this year after one game. Turn off the fan base and don’t give any transparency as to why things are failing and dodge accountability… you will see the fans start to grumble and lose interest unless you start to win games.

Again bottom line is winning … if they win no one cares about any of this crap in the media. It’s week one so I for one am not hitting the panic button.

But our early schedule is tough. And this division isn’t a cakewalk. The fact that we looked like that this past Sunday is alarming. No reason to panic yet… but it is alarming considering how we finished last year.
