So, you're saying those in charge of Capitol security KNEW something big was going to happen but failed to implement additional security measures to safeguard the building and its occupants?  Wow, it's almost like they WANTED it to happen.

They did have additional security.  They had enough to prevent harm to officials.  They just didn't have enough to keep people out of the building or enough to maintain order in the building.  They underestimated.

They did not want it to happen.

Trump wanted it to happen.

They wanted it so much the capital police opened the locked doors and escorted folks around the building as if giving a tour.

To direct them away from the house chamber.
