He's trying to make Shad look bad for signing Trevor early.

But once Shad makes that decision. It would cost Pedersen his job. In fact Doug already lost that power play once in Philly.  And he won't get a 2nd chance to be HC anywhere else. Plus after this Jags performance the past 1.5 years, he may not get a OC spot anywhere in the NFL either.  That just seems like a foolish decision. 

I would understand if you are saying he is quiet quitting or phoning it in.

But passive aggressively putting the team and QB in a position to fail seems far fetched.
