Most alarming was how flummoxed Doug seemed at his press conference. I don’t think he knows how to fix things. Beyond the OL, I think we’re more talented than the two teams we’ve just lost to.

Very much this. It’s difficult to use that talent when the mechanics of the play are blown 50 ms after the snap because the OL can’t do their part.

The OL has been a glaring problem for years yet the man who’s supposed to address it did so with textbook half-assery. He signed an aging free agent while letting solid long-term talent slide off the draft board. 

I can’t prove it but I also think there’s an unhealthy relationship between Baalke and Pederson. They present the image of unity but I’m not so sure. Did Doug peak with the Eagles or has Baalke tied his hands with this crappy O line? I don’t know. What we’re witnessing is not the makings of an organization on the cusp of success if just a few small issues can be ironed out. What is on display is deep-seated organizational dysfunction. Good team organizations, with the current personnel in place, don’t go into 8 and 9 game slides like this. Something up top needs to change, and it needs to change fast if any modicum of success is to be salvaged from this season.
