I think many things can be true at once. The offensive line is not good, this can be said for many NFL teams, including the actual good offenses in the NFL that score points.

I also think it can be true that this coaching staff cannot figure out how to call a consistent offense that utilizes everybody to the best of their abilities. There's evidence to support this because they show consistently with their inconsistency and their tendencies.

I still feel this offense is missing the obvious elements that would enable Lawrence to excel. I also feel Doug's unwillingness to adopt what made him successful in Philadelphia with his TE room and RPO concepts here is also hindering the team.

The short yardage run game needs to go away for awhile until they can convert those situations with other concepts, personnel packages and play designs. They need an ego death to move forward.

C'mon man, a team that can't run in short yardage isn't going to be successful, that's just the bottom line. Either they figure out a way to do it or the team suffers the same critical flaw that killed last season. Maybe it's putting in Tugboat to either lead or as an End on blocking plays. Maybe it's shift Scherff out entirely and put him in at RG. I dunno how to manage it with these people, but if the people suck the rest doesn't matter.

Doug's an offensive guru. It's his job to figure that out. They run just fine on 1st and 10+ situations with 5 YPC.

They're still throwing themselves into the rocks with the same concepts and they're expecting different results knowing they don't have the horses up front to pull it off.

Surely he can dig deeper from his well spring of knowledge to generate bigger and better plays on either those 1st and 10+ situations or to convert those 2nd and 3 yard situations.

It's year three. Same QB. Same core trio at the skill positions between WR, TE and RB. Lawrence's average time in the pocket is at the 16th mark two weeks in.

Just feels like we're missing the obvious in those situations. Lawrence's legs and the lack of useage in the short passing game with the TE room as a unit.

Don't want to hear it man. Cleveland's inactive list was 3x to 4x as long as ours on Sunday. They spotted you 100 yards in 10 penalties and they also had a crucial drop by Cooper on 3rd down and a fumble recovery handed back to us due to a kicker performing an illegal procedure.

Leagues best defense or not. It's year three. Pederson needs to do better. Again, the inconsistencies with his decision making. Gambled on 4th down twice on the road in Miami. Didn't gamble at all at home on 4th down while Stefanski did it 3x successfully.

How could you NOT, as a coach, want to steal one or two of those conversions back from him after he basically beat you at your own game of 4th down gambling?
