You're missing the point. 4 targets per game is not enough. He should be getting 8, 12 targets per game.

Maybe you get bigger plays earlier in the game that leads to tuddies or field goals so we're not in that position to begin with backed up in our endzone in obvious passing situations.

This was already beaten to death in another thread, but unless you cull through every play in the all22 and interview an offensive coach - you have zero clue how many intended targets there were for BTJ. They may have dialed up 8 for all you know. And the string of three and outs certainly didn't help. Never got the chance there. 

The browns also played really good defense and we had a lot of plays that never got off the starting block offensively.
Opportunities were pissed away en masse by our own doing or negated by a good defense that harassed our QB. Who knows how many looks he gets if those things were mitigated? That will not be the case every week. 

The good news is - I think this staff 100% sees what we are seeing in terms of this kids readiness and they will jump on it.
