In the practices referenced they were. Engram, Kirk and Davis all hauled in deep shots. 
I'm sure we'll see them do it again when/if the protection ever levels up against the lesser pass rushing teams.

It doesn't have to all all deep shots 40 yards down field.   None looked as good as BTJ did this camp. BTJ did the same thing in the first half week 1 vs the highest paid corner as he did in camp.  Feed the hot hot not go away from it.

They aren't going away from it. Why do you assume they are going away from it? 
He had the same number of actual targets in week 2 as week 1 and he'd likely have had 3 or 4 more if the browns didn't spoil so many passing attempts with pressure and we didn't ruin a handful more of them with unforced errors.
