We decided to run a Double Move on our own 2 YL with no support for Myles Garret?

Yes the OL is bad but Trevor is waiting too long to throw it. Trust the WR to get to the spot and throw the ball. You can still throw deep as long as you have timing down and throw it early.

Suppose Trevor decided to throw as he stepped up to avoid Garrett , so it was one motion.  Did he have space for a throwing motion?  Does Garrett bat the ball away? That's a a safety or browns TD if he does. Does the DT bat it down? That's a possible pick 6. Does the ball sail? That's a likely INT or incompletion. Does it actually find an open receiver? Seems releasing the ball earlier than designed might be a bad strategy, to me.

If they wanted the ball to be out early they should have called the play that gets the ball out early.
In the end zone, you have to know you don't have time. If it's a 5 step drop, the ball should be coming out at the end of the drop back.

Whether the ball gets hit, he can't throw to the right spot, etc, those are all other issues. If the WR was 1 second from being wide open, throwing then would not make a difference. Trevor seems to have issues turning the ball loose, specifically deep. On the 1 deep pass he threw last week, it looked like he just said screw it, I'm throwing it deep. It was 1 on 1 and he wasn't wide open. He has got to start doing that more and anticipating who will be open. Then throw to spots where the hole should be in the defense.

I don't agree with the call but Trevor has to either change the play or throw the ball. Holding it gets a safety. I think there are serious issues behind the scenes that will see the light of day soon. Trevor seems upset with issues coming from the coaches.
