I am willing to bet, as the SS did there. He sat on that inside route which would have allowed that go route to be isolated.

You know what, I got the plays wrong...  Check out the above video at the 1 minute mark.

I got the 2 plays mixed up.  My bad!  But it's weird how similar they both are...  I still would argue it's the play design that's the problem on both.

Yeah. This I agree with. It's something I referenced yesterday with options. Especially on shortage downs with pass plays.

Should be BTJ as a deep ball threat or screen option.

Kirk as his best route runner running drags, slants and curls.

Engram as a move TE to help figure out the coverage on defense. Strange or Farrell as the 2nd TE to motion into the backfield as lead blocker or potential safety valve.

Etienne as a safety valve at HB if he checks off the run call or needs him as an extra blocker.

Incorporate Washington, Davis or Duvernay as the 2nd WR option based on defensive personnel and blitz beater needs.
