Another set of names worth mentioning. Thomas Dimitroff, formerly of the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots. As well as Rick Smith. Formerly of the Houston tinhorns. And lastly, Rick Spielman, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings.

I think before we get into discussions regarding coaching changes or front office changes. Khan absolutely needs a football mind with a strong background and track record of putting together scouting teams, competent rosters and coaching staffs.

If this team collapses into the abyss? He has to clean house completely this time. Nothing else can be left in the fridge, the pantry, the freezer, the garage fridge and freezer, the cellar, whatever.

It all must go this time. Hire a team like Washington's new owner did, let them do the leg work, and then you go from there.

I live in Minnesota, and I followed the Vikings very closely during the years when Spielman was their GM.  IMO, he did a great job there.  His main shortcoming was that he was never able to find a QB, and that held him back from ultimate success. 

He drafted Teddy Bridgewater, who led their team to the playoffs, before suffering a major knee injury in training camp the following year.  As a replacement, Spielman brought in Sam Bradford, who played very well, until he inevitably got hurt, as was often the case throughout the course of his career.

Other than his bad luck at the QB position, Spielman did a great job of drafting and putting together a coaching staff in Minnesota, and I think he could do some very good things for us in Jacksonville too.
