***Gameday Jaguars vs Bills***

And a good team could easily go 10-4 down the stretch with our remaining schedule (and may win the division too). But if the first two games weren't just a slow start and we truly aren't very good and not well coached, doesn't matter what happens. We likely won't make it to 10 wins no matter what happens. I'm largely along this line. While it obviously hurts, 0-3 is not a death blow from a record perspective. This is particularly true considering this division which I don't think is very good. The Texans are the clear favorites to win the division. They are 2-1, but their 2 wins were close games against mediocre teams. They then lost 34-7 yesterday to the Vikings. Hypothetically, if the Jaguars started 0-3, but then swept the Texans, the Jaguars would be ahead of them (assuming equal records in other games). That's not all that crazy of a scenario. The more concerning thing with going 0-3 is that we have to question whether this team is as good as we hoped. A good team could pull out of 0-3 and make the playoffs with our division and schedule. However, maybe this just isn't a good team. |
