Chad Henne his last year at Michigan shredded the Florida Defense in the Capital One Bowl 41-35. And he has the size and arm strength teams primarily look for in a Franchise QB.


I know TB excels in the mental aspect, but his lack of arm strength and possible core mechanics is an issue. His smarts are only going to get him so far if he doesn't continue to develop his physical ability, just as Henne has only gotten so far with his physical ability as he lacks the mental side.....


Not saying he will be bad, just think he needs time to sit 1 - 2 years. And I don't think you should use a #3 pick on that this day and age in the NFL.

I don't really understand this post. Teddy has the mental makeup and is extremely advanced in all aspects of the game (line calls and audibling).


How will his smarts only get him so far? Being able to win before the play is the best attribute a qb can have and it's not like teddy has insufficient tools. He has plenty of arm to make every throw needed.


Core mechanics, I guess would be his size? And I don't see any reason why he can't start week 1. Chenne sure as hell won't win the starting job against teddy.
