Saying that I think the haters under appreciate how important being in the right situation is for a qb. And unfortunately for Lawrence he came to the jags. Meyer was a disaster in year 1. Our front office put together statistically one of the two worst olines in the league last year.  No clue what has happened to the offense this year but line not looking dramatically improved.  He may be damaged goods now unfortunately.

Was reading an article by Mike Dirocco yesterday that was fairly balanced as your post. And it quoted an NFL exec who confirmed your thoughts; the Urban year drastically hurt Trevor’s trajectory. Then now we’re about to bring in another new system barring a miracle turnaround; last year the offense changed and the line got worse and they threw him out there with multiple injuries, then sacrificed the defensive coaches for the blame.

It’s the equivalent of taking a bat to someone’s kneecap, they finally heal, then taking a bat to the opposite kneecap and asking why you can’t walk
