Yes, one of my bandmates is over there south of Asheville and I just finally heard from him.

Has had no cell service, no water, no power etc.
Walked 2 hrs to get a cell signal and check in with everyone
Flooding/washouts in some areas but he says large downed trees in roadways is the main cause for the slow recovery

Folks around him with 4 wheelers and UTVs are making supply runs and stocking themselves and neighbors that weren't prepared
