I feel like all his routes are curls or something. I never see the ball going his way in stride like I do with Kirk and BTJ. He’s nestled up in the open window of the zone when he does get open and when the ball comes his way it seems. It reminds me of Bortles’ time here. Seemed like all the receivers had to run curls and find an opening and wait for the ball with Bortles. No one ever hardly caught anything in stride because Bortles wasn’t the throw guys open type of QB. He needed stationary targets. This isn’t an indictment on Lawrence as Gabe is the only receiver I get these vibes from. Needless to say, I haven’t been impressed with him in his time here.
