Sorry, that’s just the way I see it. Everything with Democrats is political. Everything. If they were to respond quickly to this, they would risk marginalizing the minority vote, so, they drag their feet. Just exactly like they did with the East Palestine train derailment.

They're up on top of hillsides that are only connected by dirt roads.
They're not all in one big city piled into one big shelter.
The storm is just as devastating as Katrina but there are reasons the response won't be quite like Katrina and those reasons have little to do with race.
