I guess we will see how it plays out. The Harris side did flub their response, granted there is only so much that can be done in the first 48 hours. Still to be on a beach as the president and campaigning in California as the VP is a bad optic for them. So what if you made a phone call, a press conference with data from the ground and a sincere message of support would have been better received. They waited too long but I doubt the media will paint it in that light.

Trump on the other hand headed for affected areas and organized some supply drops and had a better message. I'm sure the media will find a way to roast him for it.

I hope this doesn't flip the election to one or the other, though I'm Republican I really hope those that want to vote on either side can. Hurricane Michael was terrible for our area, Cat 5 170+ winds. There damage is worse due to the flooding and landslide, its a force multiplier. Clean up and rebuilding will take years.
