They're not all in one big city piled into one big shelter.
The storm is just as devastating as Katrina but there are reasons the response won't be quite like Katrina
and those reasons have little to do with race.
You're the one making it about race.
I say all this as we are still awaiting a ping back from a work colleague in Yancey County NC. Hope they're safe.

A real leader would have directed the National Guard to go in and start clearing roads, bringing in supplies and help with relief efforts.  FEMA should also be there doing the same thing, but I saw a story earlier that their priorities are DEI and environmental concerns.

Regardless if people live on hillsides and on dirt roads, the Federal, State and local governments all have the equipment needed to clear roads.  Residents are having to do what they can just to get fuel for chain saws and other equipment that they have to clear the roads up themselves.

So what exactly are the reasons for the response not being like Katrina?  Could it be that your party/"President"/Vice-"President" couldn't be bothered to help those white rednecks that live in the woods?

A press release on nationalguard.mil dated Friday said that the NG had mobilized 6,300 troops to the area.
My wife's employee's husband was deployed as of Thursday.
Enough with the misinformation.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
