I think the concern is simply human nature.  The team got blown out by the Bills, then the team rededicated themselves to set things right for the Houston game but still came up short.  That fire to come back and rededicate isn't limitless, and losing tends to lead to finger pointing.  I think when you look at Doug's press conferences he's starting to feel that his message isn't getting through, but throwing your team under the bus simply hastens the process.  It's one thing to tell your players to be accountable in the locker room, telling them that in a press conference is a whole other ball of wax.
