If the losing streak continues through those three games, it would be tempting to fire the GM and HC after that, but looking at our remaining schedule, it's probably not going to get much better.  Might as well ride out the season with them at that point, and enjoy some nice high draft picks.

At the end of the season, that's when I'd clean house of Baalke and the entire coaching staff.  Hire Rick Spielman to be the new GM, and let him assemble a new coaching staff for next year and work with them to make the draft picks.

You let them go because why not? What's the point of keeping them? Get a headstart on the search. The only reason to keep them is if you're not sure if you're wanting to move on from them. If you already know that answer get them out and start over asap. Who knows maybe the interim coach and pull off a miracle.

I don't disagree with what you are saying.  I felt the same way after Sunday.

But...

We can't fire Doug until after the London trip.  You can't take the team to London for 2 weeks without a staff that at least knows the logistics of being in London for 2 weeks.  Doug, for all his ineptitude, at least can be an administrator during a trip like that.

Who knows, if we win the next 3 games, give him till the end of the year.  But he should be the first man fired, and then get a young offensive minded HC that's hungry to build something special.

There are plenty of HC candidates that could really make their mark here in Duval.  We're not going to hire anyone this season anyways, it'll come in January/February/March after the good teams finish up the playoffs.
