That last bit is the key - there are many counselors out there, and with that comes variance in capability (yours sucked donkey butt) and if one doesn't align well with you, it's good to see if you can find a better fit elsewhere. Nobody said that freedom was nice though. More like thrust upon you with multiple losses.. I'm not even 50 years old yet and watched almost my whole life crumble around me.. I got my wife set up financially for the rest of her life.. And that's all I care about.

Yeah....it was sketchy when the life insurance was worth more than a working mikey. Fast forward a decade and the kids are the best life insurance plan I got. Ain't no way she'd off me now!
