It should be a primary zone defense with some 1v1 sprinkled in. We don’t have the horsepower on defense at the moment with 2 of our heavy hitters out with injuries in Campbell and Oluokun.
Cisco ain’t 1v1 material and Johnson is an unguided rpg and neither process the speed to make it work. Man vs Man takes away the ability to roam and disguise, instead it forces the secondary into trail techniques, and a good offensive coordinator is going to pre-snap motion you to death and force you to cover long crossers which creates matchup problems across the board. |
