I remember Maurice Jones-Drew's best year here where he had, what was it? 1,600+ yards rushing? They all knew it, we all knew it, the blind man up in Nova Scotia knew it. We were running that football regardless of what the defense presented us with.

The fact that we can't consistently pick-up a yard on the ground when our lives depends on it bothers me.

That's what you get when you have the two best run blocking Samoan guards in the League on the field. We signed greyhounds not bulldozers.

Uche was great and so was Manuwai.  I miss Uche, he had such great podcasts.  He's sorely missed by his friends and family.  But I miss him too, without knowing him.

But let's not ignore MJD.  Dude was special.  He should be recognized for his toughness, his ability to find holes, and his football intelligence to gvie up TDs and just lay down at the 1 yard line.

MJD was special. Uche was special. Manuwai was great too.  That offense, while not really good overall, had an identity.  We just haven't seemed to find our identity thus far.  Hopefully this Sunday things can turn around.
