Before the rain starts?  It started raining here in Melrose around 5:00 AM and is just now easing up.  After rain pretty much all day yesterday the ground is pretty soaked and the back portion of my property is under water.

After Helene I only had a couple of trees to clean up that were blown over, and I still haven't been able to clean up much of the other debris such as downed limbs.  With the ground as soaked as it is if we get a lot of wind I'll probably have several more trees to cut up and clean up.

I just hope that we either don't lose power or only need to run on the generator for a short period of time.  After Helene we were on generator power for right around 24 hours.
