Idiots. It is a curious thing that this happened. The government in it's many levels don't want organizations it can't control or manhandle to be in control of any relief efforts. It's already been an issue where a local sheriff in one area put a halt to volunteers distributing supplies from a municipal airport where pilots were delivering goods. He couldn't stop the people so he asserted jurisdiction over the airport and told the airport manager that anything delivered there had to be turned over to the sheriff's department for distribution. |
