Hurricane Milton

So the latest update from NOAA came in at 11:00 EST rather than 12:00 EST as I was expecting. The projected track now shows it possibly making land fall south of Sarasota, but it's course has moved more northerly at 35 degrees and 17 MPH. Better news is that wind speeds are "down to" 145 MPH sustained with a central pressure of 931 MB which indicates weakening. It's still a category 4 storm at this point and hopefully it weakens down to category 3 before hitting land.
Next update according to NOAA's website should come in at 1:00 PM EST. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
