Latest update shows it still slowing down and losing strength. It is now a category 3 storm according to NOAA.
Watching the local news out of Jacksonville is a joke. Every station is reporting and acting like a major category 5 is on a direct path to the city. So far here in Melrose we have just had rain all day pretty much non-stop, no wind to speak of. I expect that to change later on tonight, but I don't think that we will get near the damaging winds that I was expecting. Hopefully we don't lose power. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
