He had a few miscommunication flubs and some drops that could have made the difference in being 9 - 8  or 10 - 7 and just making it into the play-off's for the second year in a row as AFC South Champions. 

The situation up there is also different. New head coach, new system, no QB really. Ridley was overpaid, for sure, however, his lack of production doesn't fall squarely on him. The Falcons took Braelen Trice, EDGE from Washington with the 74th overall selection. I don't think he's added anything to the stat sheet for them yet. 

We maybe could have added an OL there if needed. It is what it is.

Bingo you are spot on brother.

Ridley and Lawrence led the league in DPI penalties (not just this team). It was at least, easily another 250+ yards in DPI that could be possibly added on. Ridley is a good player, he had his drops and costed us, but he's still a good player. For that price, nope he's not that good.

Bralen Trice tore his ACL in the preseason, of course he hasn't added anything to the stat sheet yet.
