Doug doesn't want to be here. He doesn't want to be anywhere. He's burnt out. Doug has a very short shelf-life when it comes to coaching gigs. He goes like gangbusters for the first two or three years and then just fizzles out. That's just the way he's wired. 

Mentally, Doug is gone. He just is.
