That's what they mean by coachspeak. It's saying nothing. A bunch of platitudes to satisfy the requirement to appear before the media (what up, Beast Mode). Coaches aren't going to call out guys on the microphone and last long.

Did you see something other than poor execution? I saw a team that was moving the ball just fine, but in critical moments tripped over their own johnson. Passes bouncing off facemasks, fumbles on big gains, boneheaded penalties are exactly what coach called them - failure to execute. We're not calling plays that let DT run unabated to the QB, that would be a different failure. But when the calls are good, or the team is moving, and someone does a stupid, that's a failure. It's not even that we're untalented. We are undisciplined.

It'll be ok. This is a kicker with the yips. It's a team-wide funk where the expectation of something bad clouds the guys from visualizing the good. We can get there, but we may need a kick in the rump to get the funk gone. Hopefully some guys brought their boots along for the trip.
