Can we talk about the D?
|
Our D isn't very honorable. /thread
New England took checkdowns all game, usually that is enough to get us beat as we gave up an early TD in the game. The difference is that our offense woke up and put points up and the defense finally adjusted and although it wasn't getting off the field early and often it was just bending and not breaking and getting off the field after the first quarter. The coverage over the middle (Linebackers suck in coverage) and some of the tackling remains suspect. Tyson should have had an INT in his first game back but we are just not taking advantage of our opportunities. Cisco had a nice breakup on a deep pass so we are at least getting closer there, we aren't trailing guys 30 yards down field where we look way out of position. |
