No one is saying that Lawrence or the offense was perfect. They definitely made major mistakes. 

But you cannot have watched this game and thought that the defense was going to hold the Packers if the fumble or INT didn't happen.

Whenever the Packers absolutely need to pass, run, go deep, or score, they were able to do so. Even when the defense knew exactly what was coming at them. 

They got 176 yards on 27 plays after Love left the game at 6.51 yards per play. That was even better than when Love was on 1 foot - 258 yards on 42 plays for 6.14 yards per play.

The scheme is way too simplistic in this era of the NFL, and can be easily out-schemed with coverages that can read by even back up QB's. The only other team that run such a simplistic scheme are the Colts.

Then on top of that there are numerous busts and dumb penalties on top of that with players making bad decisions, out of position, or loafing.
