Everyone keeps saying this But like only 4 QB's in the league can even contemplate doing this, and only 1 does so consistently. It is rare to get that level of QB and the Jags are not likely to find that type of guy no matter what. Even most of those QB's have at least 1 or 2 guys who are or have recently been All Pro's on the offense. Even guys like Mahomes (Kelce/Hill) need them, as well as elite borderline hall-of-fame HC's.

Do Jag's have any of those guys or had any of those guys?

When was the last Jags offensive All Pro level player, MJD? Josh Blackmon? Yes, Engram made the pro bowl last. year due to volume, but there at least 5 TE's if not more guys who are bigger offensive threats in the league than Engram.

Instead of harping on Lawrence not being great or perfect. Can we pinpoint what he does well and try to build that up, and hope that over time he can shore up his weaknesses. That is what has happened for guys like Goff, Mayfield, and Geno.

There are multiple teams/franchises who win without perfect QB's. It happens all the time in the NFL. But Jags fans seem to think we "require" the perfect QB to win in this league. That is rarely how it works. Even in this franchise's heyday with Brunnell, he wasn't the perfect QB.

It was from the Baltimore win in 22 through the Texans win in 23.

During that stretch, the Jags went 15-5 which I would say is Elite.

Trevor threw 29 TDs and had 14 picks during that 20-game stretch. To me, that’s pretty good but nothing extraordinary. He had a 6 game stretch that was special.

Btw; he played ok today except for the two turnovers. But those were real killers.
