My concerns center around the discipline and attention to details of the organization Doug has put together. Doug appears to be a below average to average coach. He was in Philly for 5 years and one year he caught lightening in a bottle.  Much like we did in 2022. We had 3 games to end that season that turned on fluke plays to get us into the playoffs. Also the Titans had to lose like 7 games to close the season. Without that one good year in Philly he would have had a losing record. During that time he also had a young up and coming QB who did not survive his methods. It would be a crying shame to sacrifice TL and the talent he does have on the alter of this mess we now have.

You said it's hard to understand we are 2-6 with the team we have. So, what about this team are you having a hard time understand that it's 2-6. I laid it out roster wise, and coaching is absurdly bad. It's a dumpster fire.

Talented teams that makes lots of unforced errors lose a lot of games. 
It happens. 

But this team isn't that. 

I thought it was that, but there is a glaring lack of talent in the secondary. 

There is a lack of talent at IDL (even if the coaches worsens the problem with asinine packages/rotation) 

The otherwise good QB manages to insert enough mistakes in around 30% of the games to piss away wins. 

The receivers are leading the league in drops again - but look very talented when they aren't doing that. They are all hurt now, so, good luck Tim Jones, Parker Washington and multiple TE formations for a while. 

The OL has totally sucked in 5 games this year.

We have one LB that isn't a total liability in coverage. 

On paper, it seemed we fixed a lot of problems last offseason. No so much it turns out. 

Now - this team ABSOLUTELY could be a 4-4,  team right now pretty easily by just eliminating about 50% of the stupid mistakes - so there's your heartbreaking silver-lining if you want one. It's probably talented enough for that, but not smart enough or disciplined enough apparently.
