Jags need an EVP now. I don't care what title you give them so Baalke doesn't complain to the league again. Just have them there now, figuring out who to fire in the building (outside of coaching and gm), setting up proper structure, and vetting gm and coaching hires.

Tony Boselli is the perfect ambassador for what happens next. 

I totally agree with what your saying.  I just think that you need an EVP that has passion for the city and the franchise.  There is no other person that could do it besides Tony.  Maybe David Garrard?  But I don't think David has the make up for what an EVP needs to be successful..  Boselli does.  He's the perfect spokesman for this franchise.

I worry that both Brooks and Boselli lean hard into their analysis with the presumption of Jimmies over Joes. As in players have to step up and go out perform the other team, and stars are all that matters. While that is definitely a component of a winning franchise and you need some star players who play like stars. I think the league has dramatically leveled up scheme-wise since they were in the league to where you need force multipliers in the FO and coaching staff. You cannot win consistently with just okay to good coaches and GM's because you cannot always guarantee having a talent advantage.

For example, Boselli basically calls every OL coach good/great. That obviously cannot be the case. Bucky normally just keeps calling out the players in his podcast. It is definitely a bias from being players in the league.

I think either could be could be good assets as special advisors, but neither should have a large role as EVP. If either wanted to start being a lower role in the FO and work their way up, sure. But I doubt neither would do that.
