Even in this game, TOP for Vikings is 18 minutes. The Vikings just set a season-long possession in number of plays and TOP because they were able to convert 5/7 3rd downs. 

If not for a gift TO from the refs, it would be 7-6 Jags or 10-7 Vikings.

If the other team maintains time of possession over us - just following proper logic would lead us to conclude that our defense WOULD get tired later in the game.

But, I'm not going to harp on that point and remain there. 

The offense was ALWAYS the issue plain and simple. They couldn't score, maintain a sustained drive or even get a first down until we torched our first 5 offensive possessions.

And my point is the defense was playing this poorly in prior 1st half and even has been poor in this 1st half.

Sure getting tired may have worsened their performance in the 2nd halfs, but it is not the whole story and doesn't explain poor 1st half performances.

It is only part of the puzzle. You're argument ignores that there are other issues with the defense.
