It seems to me that we can all agree that Balke is at the very best mediocre and in fact is actually awful as a GM, both here and at SFO (who fired him and who have excelled as a franchise from almost the very minute he walked out the door), then why do we insist on his only good decision being TL rather than accept the much more likely possibility which is that TL is just one more complete fumble by Balke?

Lawrence has been hamstrung by a bad offensive line. He's repeatedly been sacked at a higher rate than any other QB and he has almost no run game to support him.  I know you despise him, but no other QB could succeed with the absolute dumpster fire around this guy the last three years. Send him to the Jets and they're a Super Bowl contending team and Salah isn't on the unemployment line. Here he's a bust keeping a dumpster fire in games they have no business even competing in.

I thought coaching matters more than talent? Why is CJ having so many issues if Demeco can just snap his fingers and fix it?
