Some people can't admit that they are even slightly wrong.  It creates what's called cognitive dissonance...

Scratching Smith and Jefferson when they're healthy but no good isn't a coaching issue, it's a "they aren't good enough" issue. The Armstead thing I can't explain other than someone decided to agree with his demand to play end not inside, hell, maybe Baalke let him put a clause in his contract to enforce it, IDK. Neilsen has done several odd things this year that I along with everyone else questioned, from players adding weight, to moving Foye over for Lloyd, to the substitution schedule. You're just upset that you haven't figured out how to blame Press Taylor for it yet so you accuse others of having your issue; that's what's called projection.
