Trump let the 2018 cycle go with no interference at all but in the 2020 cycle he tried to use his foreign policy powers to spread lies about Biden. But what if the person he appoints to DoJ is so partisan that Trump doesn't have to ask? I guess we'll find out! Nothing we can do about it now.
