I used to wonder how people like Mussolini came to power. Now I know. The people wanted him to. To make sure their narrative was the accepted truth. Creepy watching it happen.

 Trump is a hyperbolic person when you listen to him speak. EVERYTHING is an exaggeration. This is useful when it comes to interpreting him.
So he is a type of feller that speaks without thinking, gotcha. So basically:

"Please excuse my reckless speech" and this BY the way coming from a guy that plays an important role of the free world.

Asking people to forgive imprecise speech is essentially asking for reckless speech not to be corrected. Why not just speak more accurately? You seem smart enough to be able to. Why can't he? Hmmm.....


Is it just mental laziness or do you feed off of people's reaction to intentionally hyperbolic speech? He exactly knows what he is doing.
