2022 we had the same Jimmy's and Joes.  2 years later we're a 2 win team...

What changed?

In my opinion what changed was that the Doug took his foot off the gas, let Cooter go, and put Press as the main supervisor of the offense while Doug took a back seat.  That's just my opinion.  Based on what has happened since 2022, I think I'm right.

You disagree.  That's cool.  But at the end of the day, I kept telling you that if Doug didn't do something he'd have to be fired.  And guess what?  I was right.  Doug is going to be fired.  And, thankfully, he's taking that OC with him.

I can absolutely promise you that it doesn't matter who the coach is... this isn't a winning team.

You really think Doug stepped back, handed the reigns to Press, and just washed his hands of the offense? Press is running Doug's offense. Press didn't make the offense. He's just calling the plays.

This team hasn't been a good time in a few years. You can talk about the two (barely) winning seasons, but we've been mediocre for a few years.

I mean, we can't know for sure, because Doug was so flippant during the off-season...  But if you're gonna be that flippant, then what do you expect?

He told us last year that Press was the play caller.  And Press was calling plays while over watching the game in the over-box.  Then, this year Doug told Press to come and call plays on the field.

Do you not realize the fact that there were red flags all over the place?  It's not that hard to figure out that the coaching staff was suspect.  Again, that's just my opinion.  But with that said.  It's been proven right.  Doug and Press are gone.  Thank goodness.
